Free Pattern - Chunky Infinity Scarf

Friday, December 18, 2015
When it's cold outside, it's nice to wrap a chunky, warm scarf around you and tackle the day! Here is a super easy pattern I have created. It uses 4 strands of yarn at the same time! Crazy, right? I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn but it's not exactly the softest, however, there is a way you can soften it up a bit. Here is the link for that: How to Soften Acrylic Yarn

Now for the pattern. Like I said, it's super easy and enjoyable. These scarfs work up really quick too!

Chunky Infinity Scarf Pattern

Materials
• Red Heart Super Saver Yarn (enough to have 4 strands of yarn at the same time.)
• Size S crochet hook

To start, make a slip knot
Ch 80
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in the next ch, *ch 3, skip next 3 chs, sc in the next ch, rep from * across to within last ch, sc in last ch, turn, ch 1
Row 2-9: sc in the first 2 sc, *ch 3, skip next 3 sc, sc in the next sc, rep from * across to within last sc, sc in last sc, turn, ch 1

Fasten off and hide the tails! Thats it! It's a really simple scarf that is meant to be done really quick. Great for last minute gift ideas! Especially with Christmas right around the corner! If you want to soften it, now is the time for that! It didn't soften it like the expensive yarn out there, but it made it smell really good and it took away most of the scratchy feeling Super Saver yarn has. Good luck!
